Corporate History:
Al Sanchez, Founder
and President, was awarded his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in 1980.
His
work in the criminal justice arena began in Texas as a Detective.
His experience and education eventually
prepared him for the Security management position he held with a multinational company where among other things he spearheaded
the development of a sophisticated video security surveillance and alarm system for all of the corporation’s
corporate offices worldwide including the 46 floor world headquarters in Houston, Texas.
His training
and collaboration with the FBI helped foster his proficiency with executive protection, critical infrastructure protection
including information security, proprietary data and personnel security, thus ensuring the integrity and reliability of the
workforce and granting of security clearances.
Defend Technology, Inc. was later formed by Al so he could apply his unique experience, education
and talents to the specialty of industrial, commercial and residential security with particular emphasis in the area of custom
design and installation of video security camera systems
One of my favorite
comments to my customer is:
Mr./Mrs Customer, when it comes to performance,
service, and lasting value of our products, you didn't get where you are today without understanding the difference between
cost versus price. Did you? That is why in order to gain the trust and confidence of businessmen like you. I made a decision
along time ago as a professional I would rather explain to price of my product and service one time, than have to apologize
for their poor performance and poor quality forever. And, I know, you are very glad I did-Aren't you?
"Nobody likes to be sold, but everybody loves to buy, and we all know, nobody wants to buy junk."
Why our prices are a little higher, because our cameras and digital video recorders, are reliable,
produce the best video quality, have less service, higher resolution, they speak for themselves.
The first comment we here from our customers is: "Wow-what a picture" Thank you so much they say.
We will not compete with anyone that will give three
choices to choose from. "We have good cameras, we have an average cameras, and we have bad cameras". This is so
wrong and believe us when we say "you get what you paid for"
We have been in the
Video Security business for over 30 years and have owned our own company for over 10 years. To this date I will not sell a
video security camera system to anyone that I felt it was not going to produce professional results.
We sincerely believe that if you are going to invest on a video security system, invest on a system
like ours that you know it will produce evidence that any law enforcement agency, district attorney, would love to have.

"If
you stood up here all day long, you didn't take a break, or run any errands, you just stood up here, watching and listening
to everything going on in your business, do you think your employees would treat you just a little bit better if they knew

Do you think they would work just a little bit harder, knowing
you were standing right there? What would be the chance one of your employees would ever grab a pack of cigarettes and/or
coke, and forget to pay you for it if you were standing right there? Not gonna happen with them knowing you're watching, is
it?

When was the last time you took a day off without wondering and worrying what was going on in your business while
you were gone? What's your hobby? What do you like to do when you get out of here? Great! With our systems, one of the first
things I recommend you do is to take some time off, and do that.
But
before you leave your house, look in on the business for about 5 to 10 minutes and make note of something you see your employee
do that was right. Maybe it was that they simply got the place opened on time. Maybe you saw him I.D. a kid before he sold
them cigarettes. Maybe you saw Suzie clean up a spill before the mess got all over the place. Then, whatever it was, call
the business and tell them you were looking in on your cell phone and appreciate them doing a good job with whatever you saw
them do, and that you will be out of the store for awhile today, but keep up the good work. If they need anything, you will
be available on your cell phone.
How is that going to make your employee feel,
getting recognized? But how long is it going to take for him to realize, if you can see him doing good, what else can you
see them doing?
There is no way for anyone to ever know when you are watching".
Our Key Question: Who will buy the ideas that I sell, if I don't
believe in those ideas 100% myself?
Our Key Belief: What we do matters. When I succeed, my customer
succeeds more. When I lose my customers loss is greater. I know our products, fully leveraged, becomes the most valuable
tool my customer will utilize everyday. It can save your life, your employee's life, your patron's life,
a family member's life. It can save your business, help create the profit you need to grow the business. Without
the use of our products, my customers business suffers real dollar losses every day.I am the best sales person for you
to deal with. My company is the best company for you to do business with.
People do more good and less bad when they think they are being watched.
