Product Guarantee:

Any item can be returned within 15 days from the date of purchase for 100% refund. After the 15 day period, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. We offer no exceptions to this policy.
 
A RMA number (Return Material Authorization) must be received prior to returning any equipment by calling our customer support number prior to returning an item. All products must be returned in new condition and in its original packaging to receive refund. The customer will receive the refund within 30 days of returning the product. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the shipper. All returned items must be shipped FULLY INSURED. This respects our right to have the items returned to us promptly, and insures the product against any damage which may result outside of your control. The returned items MUST be in 100% original condition and in original packaging.

Service Trip Charge:

Defend Technology, Inc has a 90 day installation warranty. The warranty will cover any installation defect. This does not cover product warranties. After the 90th day, Defend Technology, Inc will charge a service trip charge of $180.00 with an hourly rate of $50.00 per hour with a minimum of two hours. Prior to the 90 days their will be no charge.


Product Warranty:

If your product is under warranty, and it is discovered that the product is defective, the customer has the option of handling the return with the manufacturer themselves,making sure that they obtain a RMA number, before returning the product. If the customer wants Defend Technology, Inc. to handle the return and replacement of the product the Service Trip Charge goes into effect. Also note that the product can only be returned in its original package otherwise the return will be null and void.

Defective Products:

Once Defend Technology, Inc. determines that a product is defective and it is not under warranty, Defend Technology, Inc. has the right to discard, trash, or destroy any or all defective products. The only exception would be if the customer prior to the exchange of the product with a new product, indicates in writing that they want to keep the defective product.

Warranty Exclusions:

Let it be known to all customers that our product warranties will be excluded for the following reasons:

Defend Technology, Inc. and its Manufactures cannot warranty any item that has been modified in any way without the written consent of Defend Technology, Inc.
 
Defend Technology, Inc. and its Manufacturers cannot warranty any item damaged due to improper packaging.

Defend Technology, Inc. and its Manufactures cannot warranty any product or item that was damaged by "Acts of God" such as lightning, hurricanes, floods, etc

If a person or persons fail to comply to written or verbal notice that they are not allowed to make any changes to the product without the written consent from Defend Technology, Inc. or its Manufactures.

Any alteration(s) made on the video security system whether it may be the cameras, dvr, software, programming, without approval will exclude all warranties on the cameras, dvr, software, and programming.

If any of the products such as the video security cameras, dvr's, software, are vandalized this will exclude all warranties.

Once all warranties including extended warranties have expired this will conclude all warranties to have been indefinitely expired and can not be renewed or extended.

Defend Technology, Inc. and its Manufactures has the right to add exclusions as the corporation deems it to be necessary.

Payments:

Defend Technology, Inc.has made it policy that no task, job, or contract, will commence unless a half down payment has been recieved prior to commencement of the agreed purchase of video security equipment and installation.Upon request an invoice will be created reflecting the half down payment as well as the balance owed.
Defend Technology, Inc. has made it policy that as soon as installation is completed an all of the video equipment is operating the remaining balance must be paid within five business days. All of our products may be purchased via credit card, check, or money order.
